Through the MSSP, you can get help with home
repair/modification, plumbing problems, weatherization and
more. We can hook you up with a concerned caregiver or
help you dive into a cool swimming pool exercise program.
The staff at MSSP has the contacts and resources you
want and need to help make your life a little easier. We
also have free packets filled with information on all

research, MSSP events, stories of inspiration, advice
on coping with MS and other information of interest to

Come join us at our free social events, made available to
MS persons, their family members, friends and caregivers.
MSSP provides food, entertainment, guest speakers with
current information on MS or symptom management and most
importantly, fellowship. Transportation is provided for
any person with MS who needs it. See our calendar page of

Education
MSSP provides fact sheets written in simple layman’s terms
that help you keep in touch with the latest information,
research and symptom management treatments available. MSSP
also maintains a lending library of information for quick
answers to your questions. The books, audio and videotapes
are available to the public for educational and personal

MSSP accepts donations of usable medical equipment for its
lending closet. The equipment varies from manual and
battery-operated wheelchairs to standing frames. The
donated equipment is available on loan to anyone in the MS
community for as long as they need it. Apply Now!Peer Support Groups
MSSP’s “Sunshine Committee” and “Good Neighbor” programs
offer MS peers and volunteers who call patients and make
visits to offer support, empathy, suggestions for coping
and good fellowship. Apply Now!
Crisis Intervention
MSSP is there with one-time emergency assistance to people
with MS when no other resources are available. This
service is made available on a case-by-case basis. Apply Now!
Care Management
The MSSP’s staff works in partnership with MS persons to
assist them in linking-up with needed care and local
resources. Staff provides advocacy with medical personnel
and other social service agencies so that the person with
MS has a well-rounded support system. We also have
educational materials and hands-on training for family and
